Dangerous leader in the group

I just recognized that he's main and big problem is lack of defining the goal that group want to. It's such big problem you know.... , because leader should finished on this, as this is the first-important thing before entering other steps in management. So, it will be dangerous for the member to follow this such leader. The group won't have something to depend on. They will go where the pressure push them. The worst scenario, this man will throw its member to face problem by their self, as he unable to handle the accumulated problems.
The mind set how to manage the group should be re-considered. Group is a resource to do the group's goal. How to go the goal is another issue to set up, which called 'Strategy'. Leader should manage and set up this strategy. But, the first thing, he should define what's the specific goal need to be achieved, and derivate it into some sub-goals. Did he do it ?? I don't think so ....
I even catch he's confusion how to manage the pressure to achieve the goal. He need assistance, but he hasn't realized it.
